The Durham Countryside Services framework involved the planned and reactive maintenance of numerous assets with the majority of the works being undertaken in country parks, nature reserves and general green spaces used daily by members of the public.

Under this framework we completed a number of jobs on a monthly basis including earthworks, access track creation and repairs, drainage installation and repairs, ground preparation and cultivation, soft and hard landscaping, tree management, headwall construction and repairs, fencing, pond construction and maintenance, waterway and wetland maintenance and construction, repairs to retaining wall, dry stone walls, gabion and rock armour walling, wildlife and ecological measures such as tunnels, newt fencing, ledges, grilles, fish passes, footpath repairs and creation, bridlepaths and cycleways. Works were split into two areas; day works and projects. Meetings, communications and interactions ensured efficient completion of each project under the framework.
