Amy Richards has just secured the role of Plant Trainer at Seymour Skills Academy! Not only is Amy our very first home-grown Plant Trainer, but she’s also our first female in this role.
Amy has been an inspiration, consistently championing and advocating for women in construction. Her journey with us has been nothing short of remarkable, and today, we’re overjoyed to see her step into this new challenge.
Reflecting on her journey with Seymour Skills Academy, Amy once shared, ” I hope to see myself as an Instructor at the Skills Academy, encouraging more women to get started and give the Gateway Programme a go.”. We’re delighted to announce that her career dream has become a reality!
