Meet Donna King, Training Academy Manager!
Donna joined Team Seymour in March 2020 as Training Academy Manager at Seymour Skills Academy. Donna supports many aspiring construction workers as they join the Gateway to Construction Programme and guides them through to employment.
Donna has an excellent relationship with Hartlepool College of Further Education as we aim to bridge the skills gap in the industry, an offering which is due to be enhanced with the recent success of the Town Deal funding. Donna is a great advocate for women in construction and attends many careers events across North East region showcasing that the construction industry is inclusive and accessible.
Donna said: “Removing stereotypes is important to me as it will pave the way for our future generations. I am proud to be a role model for my daughters.”
