We were delighted to welcome local charity Three13 Training & Enterprise to our Teeslink Development site in Eaglescliffe last week. This 54-acre scheme, delivered on behalf of Rula Developments and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, has the potential to create up to 1,000 new jobs and will provide development-ready industrial platforms to drive regional investment and growth.
During the visit, the team provided a detailed overview of the construction activities, with a strong focus on how safety is embedded in every stage of the project. From early planning through to execution, the visitors were shown how all works are carefully coordinated, risk-assessed and carried out in a controlled and methodical way to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained.
The Learners were particularly impressed by the sheer scale of the project and the complexity of the underground infrastructure works, which will support future above-ground development. It was a great opportunity to showcase the often unseen engineering that underpins major construction projects.
With Three13’s Teesside Training Hub located right next to our site, the visit provided a valuable look at real-world construction activity and highlighted potential career pathways within the industry.
