We would like to congratulate Amy Richards on her progression in her construction industry career with successfully undertaking the Gateway to Construction programme. Prior to undertaking the course, Amy had been unemployed and seeking Universal Credit unsure about her next steps. The 5 week course has helped Amy learn new skills and knowledge around the plant and machinery within an 11 acre, real-life construction site and environment and hasn’t looked back since. This reflects how Seymour is bridging the skills gap and investing in people while increasing equality and diversity in the workplace.
