On Friday night, we brought home the National Award for People & Culture at the Constructing Excellence Awards! This recognition reflects our people, our shared values and the purposeful culture we nurture every day.

Through initiatives such as the Seymour Skills Academy, we are addressing the skills gap and helping people access meaningful employment. Supported by a £1.4 million UK Government Town Deal Fund investment, our enhanced facilities are making a lasting impact, with 900+ previously unemployed individuals progressing into work through our Gateway to Construction programme. This collaborative partnership between Seymour Civil Engineering, Hartlepool College of Further Education, and Hartlepool Borough Council is shaping the future of civil engineering by equipping the next generation with the essential skills they need to succeed.
We are also empowering underrepresented groups through the FREDIE framework, Women in Leadership programme, STEM outreach and collaboration across the Renew Group and wider industry forums.
Innovation, collaboration, sustainability, wellbeing and ethical leadership aren’t just initiatives, they’re how we work every day.
