We were delighted to welcome students from Egglescliffe School who are taking part in Constructing Excellence in the North East’s Wonder Challenge to experience the breaking ground ceremony at our Infrastructure & Enabling Works, Stockton Teeslink Project.
The budding engineers had the opportunity to speak with Kieran Exley, Site Manager, and John Cooper, Site Engineer, who shared insights into their roles and career journeys, both having started out as Apprentices. They also talked the students through the site plans and the wider vision for the development, giving a real-world look at how major projects come to life.
A huge thank you to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and Rula Developments for taking the time to engage with the students, listen to their ideas, and help spark new ones.
The team will be working closely with this site, and we are looking forward to welcoming the students back to see the progress over the coming months.
