Seymour introduces Environmental & Social Governance Commitments to enhance the way in which we deliver beyond construction in the areas in which we work.
We will continue supporting the local communities by working with local charities through fundraising activities and volunteering out time. We believe in inspiring the next generation through delivering STEM events throughout the year and supporting local employment through the Seymour Skills Academy and their partnership with Hartlepool College of Further Education. We are also committed to monitor baseline ex-armed forces into employment for continual improvement in future years.

We continue to improve our customer survey response rate, to ensure we are meeting the needs our customer and increase our revenue from repeat customers. We are committed to attending Supply Chain Events and support innovation within the industry.
Seymour have already taken steps to reduce our carbon emissions with 100% of energy being supplied by ‘green’ tariffs and ensuring all company car bands have electric and hybrid options by the end of 2022. We are striving towards reducing our carbon emissions by ensuring 80% of our fleet is ‘low carbon’ by 2030.

Engaging with our stakeholders is key to Seymour, we highly encourage colleague engagement and apply a continued focus on health and wellbeing amongst the workforce. We have continued commitment to training and development with a minimum of 5% employees in Apprenticeship/Graduate/Trainee roles.
We are committed to responsibly source all steel and timber as well as continue to maintain our record of 0 environmental incidents. We strive to demonstrate our commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) through the improvement in our gender pay gap.
