Verge Hardening Works, Hartlepool

Verge hardening works were undertaken at four different areas across Hartlepool where residents had limited parking and were utilising the grass verges. New parking laybys were created and involved the removal of existing vegetation, pre-cast concrete road kerbs and haunch backing. 210m³ of material was excavated and 450m² of geotextile membrane and tarmac surfacing laid. Drop kerbs were laid to the parking laybys and pavements realigned.
