The new sewage treatment unit, inspection change and outfall were located parallel to the existing faulty system. The existing septic tank we decommissioned and ancillary works to existing pipework and electrical connections completed as part of the works. Excavations were required for the new treatment unit and inspection chamber along with trenches for the new pipework to service the system. Fibre glass units were used and moved into position using a 10t crane. The excavations were backfilled using the excavated materials and the areas reinstated.
