The PX Teesside Gas Processing Plant required civils works to enable the construction of a steel framed general store, oil store and lay down area.
Our works were undertaken in a live gas environment and involved the construction of a 300m2 and 270m2 reinforced concrete slab foundations and 3 smaller 24m2 slab foundations. In addition to the foundation slabs we installed ducting, drainage, manholes, inspection chambers and 2.6m high post and wire fencing to the sites perimeter.
A new access road was constructed and tied into the existing site road network. We also undertook emergency investigation and repair works to the existing high pressure fire mains across the site with damaged pipework sections removed and new sections welded into place. The pipework was tested prior to the trench being backfilled.
