The Ministry of Justice rolled out a programme of UK wide electric vehicle charging point installations in their car parks for their increasing electric vehicle fleet, visits and staff. We undertook charging infrastructure installations to connect chargers at five locations across the North East and Yorkshire. This required site surveys to identify all services prior to the installation of ducting, cabling and drawpit system via open trench methods. Concrete plinths were formed for the charging posts and surfacing reinstated to original specification. Space marking, white lining and signage were completed to the new electric vehicle bays. Working within these high security environments required close liaison with the Ministry of Justice project management team, staff across the five sites and UK Power Networks to coordinate and plan the works ensuring delivery remained on track.
