Ingenium Parc is a 40-acre site being developed for future industrial use on challenging ground conditions. The drainage strategy has therefore been key in future development of this land. The project required the installation of over 750m of surface and foul water drainage to service future businesses. A 200m section of surface water pipeline was installed using directional drilling as this section traversed an existing, established nature reserve located to the west of the site. This removed the requirement to create a trench for installation, protecting the existing ecologically valuable habitat.
