Ingenium Parc is being developed for future industrial use, it has been envisioned that 11 plots will be created over its 40 acres of greenfield site, with a commercial floor space of over 100,000m2.
Seymour were appointed the works of vegetation and topsoil clearance. The utilisation of directional drilling to minimise risk and damage to an existing nature reserve. The works included 73,245m2 of site clearance, 865m2 of footpath cleared and 300m2 of footpath/bridle way diversion with timber edgings and tarmac surfacing.
Additional works were awarded by Darlington Borough Council involving the formation of 3 additional ponds across the site to encourage wildlife including newts.
