The Durham County Council Countryside Services Framework involved planned and reactive maintenance of numerous assets in line with the scope of the framework, with the majority of the works being undertaken in public space in the form of country parks, nature reserves and general ‘green’ spaces used by the public. As part of the Framework Seymour completed repair and maintenance works to existing headwalls and constructed new where required, undertook works within ponds, waterways and wetlands, installed surface water drainage and carried out drainage alterations and repairs, repaired and constructed retaining walls, dry stone walls and gabion rock armour walling, installed and repaired fencing and undertook vegetation management and planting.
