Burnhope Primary School

As part of our drive to give back to the communities in which we work, Seymour team members delivered a new growing area to be used by Burnhope primary school and the wider community to allow a new gardening club to be formed. Whilst on site the team also repaired a 50m path, installed new bug hotels to enhance the children’s learning and completed various small repairs including a drain repair.

The team took part in a Q&A session where children from the school council were given the opportunity to find out more about Civil Engineering and the project. Our Site Supervisor, Dave King was invited into an assembly at the end of our works and was presented with a certificate and a small gift of sweets for the team.
