Seymour were delighted to have been working with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and their ‘Building Our Future’ primary school programme.
Working with St. Benedict’s Primary School in Redcar, we told the children all about our work at our nearby Teeswork site, roles in construction and future opportunities that is available all around them. We even gave them a taster of what it is like to work on a construction site with a go on our simulator where we found some budding plant operators!
Following some interactive sessions and group working, the children came up with some fantastic Health and Safety posters as part of a competition that we set (where we discovered a few budding designers and health and safety officers of the future!). The results were fantastic and a number will be going up on site after the official launch of the programme.
